New York label Aimé Leon Dore and The North Face have made their second collection together: 30 pieces that mix alpine archive pieces with ALD's East Coast style.
The lead piece is the Mountain Jacket 2000 in seam-sealed, three-layer GORE-TEX (US$650). It's the first time GORE-TEX has been part of a North Face collaboration since 2019. The Pertex Nuptse (US$695) gets Cloud Down, a built-in hood and can be worn inside out. ALD also brings back the late-'90s Heli Vest and the Denali fleece, and parked a co-branded helicopter outside its Manhattan store for the launch.
Why it's interesting: proper weather protection in colours and cuts you'd actually wear in town. Out since 17 September at Aimé Leon Dore, The North Face and selected stores; some pieces are already sold out.

Das Hauptstück ist die Mountain Jacket 2000 aus nahtversiegeltem, dreilagigem GORE-TEX (US$650). Es ist das erste Mal seit 2019, dass GORE-TEX Teil einer North-Face-Kollaboration ist. Die Pertex Nuptse (US$695) bekommt Cloud Down, eine integrierte Kapuze und lässt sich wenden. Dazu bringt ALD die Heli Vest aus den späten 90ern und das Denali-Fleece zurück und hat zum Start einen Helikopter mit beiden Logos vor dem Laden in Manhattan geparkt.
Warum das spannend ist: richtiger Wetterschutz in Farben und Schnitten, die man auch in der Stadt trägt. Erhältlich seit 17. September bei Aimé Leon Dore, The North Face und ausgewählten Läden; einige Teile sind schon ausverkauft.

主役はシームシーリングを施した3層GORE-TEXのMountain Jacket 2000（US$650）。The North FaceのコラボにGORE-TEXが使われるのは2019年以来初めて。Pertex Nuptse（US$695）はCloud Downと一体型フードを備え、裏返しても着られる。ALDは90年代後半のHeli VestとDenaliフリースも復刻し、発売に合わせてマンハッタンの店の前にダブルネームのヘリコプターを停めた。
注目の理由：街でも本当に着たくなる色とシルエットで、きちんとした悪天候対策。9月17日からAimé Leon Dore、The North Face、一部店舗で発売中。すでに完売したアイテムもある。
