The Air Max Goadome came out in 2000 as a tough winter boot with visible Air. Nike now makes it as a low shoe, and Carhartt WIP, the streetwear line of the Detroit workwear brand, has put its stamp on it.
The upper gets an extended mudguard, an open side window with stitched lines, rope laces with metal D-rings, a small metal Swoosh and a Carhartt WIP flag tag. Light British Tan mixes suede, canvas and leather; Black is all leather. A third colour, Twilight Marsh, hasn't been shown yet.
Why it's interesting: a winter-ready shoe that looks like workwear, not like a gym. US$190, coming in the holiday season via Nike SNKRS and selected stores. The exact date is not confirmed yet.
Der Air Max Goadome kam im Jahr 2000 als robuster Winterstiefel mit sichtbarem Air heraus. Nike macht ihn jetzt als Halbschuh, und Carhartt WIP, die Streetwear-Linie der Workwear-Marke aus Detroit, hat ihm ihren Stempel aufgedrückt.
